Update the video dimension after inserting in the body content

  • I have created a custom field of field type WYSIWYG Editor by using ACF plugin but when I am trying to insert a portrait video using add media feature it’s is inserting with default height and with there is no option for resizing the video like the image . We are able to choose the size of the image but not for video.

    It looks like Elementor is forcing all media on the linked page to fill the full content width or 900px, which ever is less. It doesn’t care what orientation the media item is. In order to size portrait items differently, Elementor would need to know which items are portrait orientation. It’s unclear if such data is available or not. Assuming it is, proper sizing would require modifying how Elementor handles media insertions so I recommend seeking assistance in Elementor’s dedicated support forum where its devs and expert users are in the best position to help you.
