    Hi there

your latest update (0.8.4) has broken many links in the dashboard
When I say broken this means either I’m getting an error from the plugin (Redirection from John Godley) or the page is looping trying to load, Google Analytics graph is not showing any thing…
The different public URL’s do not seem to be impacted, but the dedicated admin URL (as I block dashboard access from any public URL) is broken

just noticed, the dashboard is now using the main URL – aka the URL define in Settings\General – WordPress Address and Site Address (they are the same so not sure if one it taking over)

If I change these 2 URL to the ‘admin one’, all plugins admin page are now working fine but this is quite annoying as I don’t want to have the admin URL as the WordPress one

    Hi!

That change was supposed to fix an issue with the General WP settings page. Due to the domain replacements the plugin does, it wasn’t possible to change the Home URL and WordPress URL options. They were always showing the current domain in use. Because of that, I disabled those filters on admin pages. You shouldn’t have to change any option to be able to browse through admin pages. Also, having different domains for admin and WordPress front end should be possible. I’ll run some tests ASAP and let you know about my findings.

    Thanks for the report!

    Thanks
To help here is the configuration – working before and working (aka workaround) after the update
    Before update
    WordPress/Site Address: main public URL
    Additional URL (domain):
    *main public URL
    *additional public URL 1
    *additional public URL 2
    *additional public URL 3

    *admin URL

    After update (workaround)
    WordPress/Site Address: admin URL
    Additional URL (domain):
    *main public URL
    *additional public URL 1
    *additional public URL 2
    *additional public URL 3

    *admin URL

    Hello,

I’ve just released a new version (0.8.5) that fixes this issue. You should now be able to have a different URL for the admin and front end.

Please let me know if something is still not right.

    Hi Gustavo
    thanks
Unfortunately, this did not solve the issue
still got the redirection plug in broken, as well Jetpack or the Google analytics dashboard

    Had to reapply the workaround
