Update to 1.0.9.2 failed

I ran the update from 1.0.8.9 to 1.0.9.2 and it failed, and I could no longer access the site. I FTP’d to the directory and discovered that the colibri-wp directory was empty. I fixed it by dragging a backup copy of the colibri-wp 1.0.8.9 directory to the server. (I’m using a child theme, so no modifications were lost.)

Once I got the site running again, I tried adding custom css
a {text-decoration:underline;}
but it would not publish — infinite loop.

I hesitate to update the theme again until I have time to perform another emergency backup.
