Update to 1.5 doesn’t work

Exactly the same thing happening here. I run the update, it says it works and is updated and then it immediately says the same update is available again. Ran it about 5 times and then gave up.

Same thing happened to me! I noticed yesterday, and was hoping it would be better today… No luck.

I try to keep a clean dashboard, and it is a little frustrating to always have update bubbles. I don’t even have to wait a minute before the update pops up again. Hopefully there is a simple fix.

Same problem on two sites. I have tried to update from the dashboard, WP update, Plugin updates, iTheme Sync, and the Plugin home pages, but none of them worked even though they said the update was complete, it still shows the old ver 1.4.1.

The plugin appears to be working ok.

I believe this was something with www.ads-software.com servers (cache or something). I have made few commits to the repo with a small readme.txt changes to force WordPress update the plugin .zip file (it used the old v1.4.1 files). This doesn’t help. Then I have created a separate 1.5 tag in the repo to use instead of trunk version. Then after some time it is started to work. Not sure what exactly fixed it.

Great, thanks. Have relayed that to developer of other plugin in the hope it’ll help them to resolve the issue (but, yeah, does sound like it is likely a problem at www.ads-software.com end causing this – I guess related to roll-out of new design for plugin pages…)
