    Hello,

    When trying to update to 2.06 my website will display this message;
    “The site is experiencing technical difficulties. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.”
    If I log into WordPress in recovery mode and go the the plugin page I see this for the Square plugin;

    Adds ability to sync inventory between WooCommerce and Square POS. In addition, you can also make purchases through the Square payment gateway.

    Version 2.0.6 | By WooCommerce | View details
    This plugin failed to load properly and is paused during recovery mode.

    An error of type E_COMPILE_ERROR was caused in line 141 of the file /home/burtsgh8/public_html/wp/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-square/woocommerce-square.php. Error message: require_once(): Failed opening required ‘/home/burtsgh8/public_html/wp/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-square/vendor/skyverge/wc-plugin-framework/woocommerce/payment-gateway/class-sv-wc-payment-gateway-plugin.php’ (include_path=’.:/opt/alt/php72/usr/share/pear’)”

    Trying to reinstall the update just causes this to repeat.

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @brian1,

    Sorry about your troubles here keeping Square up to date.

    Just to confirm for us, you were updating by heading to Dashboard > Updates from wp-admin? You weren’t uploading/overwriting the plugin file via FTP?

    Yes that is correct.

    I have seemed to remedy the situation right now by deleting the plugin and re-installing it.

    ….but it is frustrating to have problems with almost every update of this plugin especially since it is one that my customers rely on so much.
