update to 3.1.0 -> emails work no more

    Strange issue since updating the plugin this morning:

    Woocommerce system emails are not sent any more.

    In Woo Settings -> emails, the checkboxes for “Diese E-Mail-Benachrichtigung aktivieren” (activate this email…) are all unchecked.

    When checking them and saving, they remain unset.

    When deactivating plugin, checkboxes are checked and emails are sent.

    Ok maybe it’s because I haven’t updated Woocommerce itself yet from 2.0.20 to 2.1.0. Will do that now.

    With Woocommerce 2.1.0, emails work again. Sorry for panicking.

    No problem, glad it’s working for you again!

    It should work with both versions 2.0.x and 2.1.x just fine. The plugin has now a new settings page under “WooCommerce > Deutsche übersetzungen” — resaving them should also help.

    Hi Dave,

    I have the same issue. Yesterday I did an upgrade to WC 2.1.0 and WooCommerce Deutsch (de_DE) 3.1.2. Since WC 2.1.0 messed up my whole system, I went back to 2.0.20. Now everything is fine except the fact that Woocommerce system emails are not sent any more. Do you have any recommendation?

    Sorry, but this is an already resolved topic – please always open a new topic for every question otherwise this becomes a mess here…

    You should run my plugin with version 3.1.2 (released on 13.02.2014 AFTERNOON!), and also update to latest WooCommerce 2.1.2 (released THIS EVENING!).

    My plugin should work fine with WooCommerce 2.0.20 — my client’s shop runs with it and all e-mails work fine. Same should be case with newest version.

    My plugin does only load translations it does nothing to e-mails sending or anything.

    Additional tips & stuff for you:

    Please test also e-mails without my plugin. Please test with WooCommerce 2.1.2 or higher on a test install at best.

    Translations for WC 2.0.20 were not changed in my latest plugin versions – at least not for e-mails. Also translation loading happens on the same hook priorities.

    Maybe there are plugin conflicts? Maybe conflicts with recently updated extensions that are not backwards compatible anymore now?

    Do you have premium plugin “WooCommerce German Market” active? This does something to e-mails… — support in their own forum please…
