I’m using NinjaFirewall on about 90 sites. After Update to 4.6 I got Fatal Errors on a 5 sites with this message:
Fatal error: Cannot declare class NinjaFirewall_helpers, because the name is already in use in /xxx/xxx/xxx/aino.betapage.ch/wp-content/plugins/ninjafirewall/lib/class-helpers.php on line 14

Downgrade to 4.5.11 and everything works. There are no specific Plugins or Hosting-Provider on this sites. What is your recommendation to solve this?

    Thanks
    Gerd

You are the second person with that issue, but so far I can’t reproduce it. Whether I use manual or automatic update, it always works.
Is the plugin running in “Full WAF” or “WordPress WAF” mode (you can see that in the NinjaFirewall > Dashboard page).

Do you have another website in a parent folder with NinjaFirewall installed ?

All sites are running in “Full WAF” mode

I don’t use such Installations. All WP are installed in Root of URL
If you contact me by PM I can give you access to one of the affected sites

There’s must be another instance that is loaded, hence the error message.
Can you try that new version:?https://nintechnet.com/ninjafirewall.4.6.zip
The other person who had the same issue just confirmed it solved their problem.

Is this 4.6.1? The problems occur after update to 4.6. I also test to delete and reinstall, but the same. How can I check, if all settings of NinjaFirewall are deleted?

It’s a patched 4.6 version. If it works for you just like it did for the other person who had the same issue, I’ll release it publicly as the new 4.6.1 version.
