Update to 4.1 keeps failing to uninstall the old version …

    I’m trying to do the auto update to 4.1 for a while now, including when the plugin has been disabled. But it keeps failing.

    I’m on WordPress 4.1 MU …

    The message is:

    Downloading update from https://downloads.www.ads-software.com/plugin/wordpress-backup-to-dropbox.zip…

Unpacking the update…

Installing the latest version…

Removing the old version of the plugin…

Could not remove the old plugin.

Plugin update failed.

    p.s. I also tried it with the plugin disabled. Same message.

    Hate to bump the question, but even trying to remove the plugin, so I could install the latest version seems impossible.

    Can anyone tell me what the uninstall procedure would be?
    I’ve tried removing the plugin through WP, and get this message:

    Plugin could not be deleted due to an error: Could not fully remove the plugin(s) wordpress-backup-to-dropbox/wp-backup-to-dropbox.php.
