Update to 5.4.2 crashed site with PHP error
-
This morning I updated Contact Form 7 plugin to 5.4.2. My site went down with persistent 502 errors. After some investigation we switched from ultra fast PHP to standard PHP and the site came back online.
Error message from WordPress as follows –
An error of type E_ERROR was caused in line 149 of the file /home/customer/www/domainname.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/contact-form-7/includes/functions.php. Error message: Allowed memory size of 805306368 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 49814688044 bytes)
Is this a problem with the plugin or should that allowed memory size be greater? how can we avoid this error in future if we switch to fast php again?
thanks
