Update to posts saved a comments

Was it a comment left on a post or page that you had linked to in the updated post or page?

If so, that’s a pingback: https://make.www.ads-software.com/support/user-manual/building-your-wordpress-community/trackbacks-and-pingbacks/#pingbacks

It’s a little automated way of saying “This post/page was also referenced in this other post/page.”

You can avoid self-pingbacks with this handy trick: https://make.www.ads-software.com/support/user-manual/building-your-wordpress-community/trackbacks-and-pingbacks/#pingbacks

Or disable sending pingbacks all together by unchecking “Attempt to notify any blogs linked to from the article” at Settings -> Discussion.

Thanks for the suggestion. I turned off pingbacks and that should resolve the issue.
