Update to Sydney 1.81 – full screen slider does not work

  • Hello,
    I just updated Sidney to version 1.81 and the full screen slider on the front page does not work anymore.
    I use a Sydney child theme.

    Thank you for reaching out to us. I am happy to help with your queries.

    Perhaps you have had the header.php file modified via child theme that may not have the <?php wp_body_open(); ?> line after the body tag opening.

    That line is now required as it presents in the newer version of Sydney. Please refer to this thread for complete guide on fixing any issue related with this.

    Hi Kharis,
    thanks for your answer. I did not modify the header.php for the child theme. And in the header.php of the Sydney theme is integrated <?php wp_body_open(); ?>

    So there should be another reason.

    My other websites with Sydney had no problems with this update ??
