• I know this is probably a dumb question, but I need to know how to tell if updating will screw up my website? As far as I know – I don’t believe I’ve put in any special codes, CSS or anything, but I’ve put in a LOT of work, and if updating my website screws up all the work I’ve done, I’m NOT going to be a happy camper. Is there a way to test this to make sure it won’t screw things up first?

Hi @coleenh – I can definitely understand the caution ??

There’s no reason to expect that updating to the new version of the theme will cause any issues – but it’s always good practice to take a backup of the site first (just in case).

If you don’t have one installed – there’s a range of Backup plugins you can install from Plugins > Add new.

But I can confirm we’ve had no reports of widespread issues with updating to the new version – so it should be totally fine ??

@jordesign Thank you very much! One last question before I update to the new version… I use Elementor to edit my pages and posts, will it screw things up with the free version of Elementor? TIA.

Hi – I’m not aware of any conflicts with Elementor either ??
