Update to Youtube Data API v3?

I used @quacos patch for User feed. But I cannot make it work for playlist feed. Original plugin works the other way aroud. Playlists works user feed dont. Is there cumulative workaround ?

It works using widget by selecting the user and giving the channel id. Only issue what I am having is the catche, trying to figure it out whether it because of the plugin or site.

replaced the original youtube-channel-gallery.php file with yours and that fixed mine (I only use the (user) channel link.

The actual “link” option was still sending you to the bad url so I changed it again as I did above, replacing “/user/” on lines 540 and 544 with “/channel”

Like i posted on your youtube video. This fix is nice for pages, but not for widgets. How do you want to solve that for widgets?

You have to edit the php files to let it work in the sidebar widgets.

The plugin name YouTube Channel Gallery Plugin might indicate that its primary use could be for embedding YouTube Channels in a Gallery.

How does this fix work for embedding YouTube Channels in a Gallery ?

AFAIK the channel embedding was the broken part of the plugin.

AFAIK the playlist embedding was never broken as per @oktalv above.

However (again AFAIK) if the fix from @quacos is implemented it only caters for channels

How would one adapt this fix (as per @jboutot) for channel embedding ?

Generally speaking, because of the transparent nature of the the web, the web service industry has not been infested with consultancy charlatans who when presented with a problem they can’t fix proceed to fix a non-existent problem they can “fix” in order to gain free publicity. fixed it for me. I was using it as a widget too and so this was the perfect fix. Saved hours. Thanks!

Now, there is a new and working version 2.01 but with an additional disturbing string inside of the widget:

I would say is a residue of the tesphase. I will look for patching it.
