• I have an available update for Mollie translations… but after updating it says there is still an update available.

“Vertalingen updaten voor Mollie Payments for WooCommerce (nl_NL)…
    Vertaling is succesvol geüpdatet.”

No errors or warning in the PHP log.

  • Thanks Femi, could that be the wrong download?

    The current version is 7.8.2
    The beta download is 7.5.6-beta – that’s a downgrade

    Hello @jpnl

    Could you please try again?

It looks like the previous file was cached, which has now been cleared. The file in the link should be mollie-payments-for-woocommerce-notranslations

Please let me know if you come right.

    Thanks.

Thanks. Yes that works and it fixes the translation update issue.

Are there any other changes in this version, besides the fix for the translations? If so, what changes?

I’ve just tested the 7.8.3-alpha version that you linked to and verified the changes that are all related to the language files as far as I can tell. The update has been installed on 44 sites and the translation updates are not coming back as available, so that seems to be solved now.

I suggest to keep this topic open in case issues arise with this alpha version and until the official version has been released.

What a wonderful day, I was so anoyed by this I finally looked into it. Glad most people are more annoyed than me. Beta fixed it ; )

Hi @femiyb, is there an ETA for the fix? I’m having the same issue as everyone else here, and would rather not go through the trouble of applying either the workaround or the beta.

@florismk you can install the beta mentioned earlier in this issue, works great.

Please read the last couple of posts.

I read that Mollie won’t fix this in production for 3 weeks. Whatever manager or dev decided that, this is really, really bad, I have no words, except this amateurism scares me for a payment provider. Wow.

@neejoh I’d rather not go through the trouble of installing the beta.

    Please read through my post.

This bug is now unfixed for over a month. We have therefore decided to look around for a more professional payment provider.

It is annoying for sure. They should probably look into a development team or outsource elsewhere if it takes them this long to roll out a fix for this, same feelings here @webwitnl. Or they only want to pay x releases a year. Uhh.

Hello @webwitnl @jeroenrotty Note that a beta version was released about three weeks ago to fix this issue. You can download it here: https://mollie.inpsyde.com/beta

The official release for version 7.9.0 is scheduled for next week.

    Regards,
    Femi.

I don’t care for beta’s. I never deploy a beta plugin release on live sites – especially not when the plugin tackles payments – and you shouldn’t recommend to do this either.

I’d have loved to see a patch/fix release 2 weeks ago with only the translation fix in it.

Yes thank you, I’m not going to install a beta of a payment provider on production.

I’m worried that this is the tip you give to your customers…….

I agree to what others said – Beta and payment is an absolute no go!
