Update unusable

  • I can download word press 2.9 onto my computer but I cannot do anything at all with it. My computer does not seem to be able to do anything with PHP files and I have no idea what PHP files are anyway. All I get is a message that Windows cannot open this file or that file or anything that is a PHP file. I have now deleted Word press 2.9 and will stay with the existing version that works. The wholer thing is a frustrating waste of time and not something for a newbie like me.
