• Hi rosell.dk,

Thanks again for the great plugin!

I’ve started using it for all my projects now and I wonder whether there’s any way to update WebP images when someone resizes or crops an image?

I’ve found this topic, but for some reason it’s not displayed on the support page of your plugin so I’m not sure you’ve seen it.

Right now I use the Crop Thumbnails plugin. But if you have made an interaction with any other similar plugin, please let me know.

It will be very handful. At the moment, the only ways to update WebP images are:

    a) connect via FTP and manually remove images with .webp extension which you want to update (it’s too difficult for a regular user)

    b) click “Delete converted files” button (but it removes all images and will be time consuming to regenerate them again on next page load).

No reply in six days, so we had to switch to ShortPixel Image Optimizer.

It allows to recreate WebP images for a single object in the Media Library.

So if we manually re-crop an image, we use the “re-optimize” command to regenerate WebP images.

I hope someone finds it helpful.
