• I was thoroughly disgusted that the update to this plugin totally wiped out all the hard work I put into setting up the tables for my pricing page.

I updated the plugin, and updating the plugin deactivated it and then I received a message that the plugin didn’t exist anymore.

After I did a refresh of my Dashboard, there the plugin was in an inactive state.

When I reactivated it, all the information I’d taken the time to enter was totally gone.

What a waste. Be aware this can happen to you.

Yes. It happened to me today upon the update as well…
Many hours of hard work and tweaking right down the drain…
However, I’m redoing it as we speak, and this time I’ll make a backup ??

    Really Sucks!

    Hi fieldsf and scooter1,

We are really sorry you had to re-create your pricing tables after the update. We understand how annoying it can be. The reason for all this is that we changed something in our code that was important for the future of this plugin.

Next updates will NOT destroy anything that you are doing now, we promise you that.

Also we tried to warn our users by writing something in the Changelog. Before updating a plugin you can always click the “View Details” button to find out what the new version will bring to the plugin.

For version 3.0 of the Responsive Pricing Table plugin it said:
WARNING: FOR THOSE WHO UPGRADE FROM AN EARLIER VERSION TO THIS VERSION, YOU WILL NEED TO RE-CREATE YOUR PRICING TABLES!

    Sorry for the inconvenience.
