    Yes,

See the same message with link points to Yoast home page.
    Bug or marketing?

Yeah, it’s also just re-directing to their homepage as default.

Maybe it’s something with their new team-up with onpage, to drive users to use that as well.

I got exactlty the same message after updating to 3.0
Is this a bug? Should I ignore it?

I got the same message, after updating.

Looks like they added OnPage.org indexability check.

Go to Dashboard, click on Fetch again at the bottom and it should be fine.

Mine says now: Indexability check by OnPage.org
Your homepage can be indexed by search engines.

And the error message is gone.

GoranMagdic’s advice did the trick. Clicked the “Fetch the current status” in the “Yoast SEO Posts Overview” widget on the Dashboard.

I got the same message, after updating…

    motivmedia

    (@motivmedia)

GoranMagdic in this thread has already posted the solution (the 7th above this one).

I’d like to add that it may be neccessary to first set that dashboard item to visible.

    icedub

    (@icedub)

I got the same message after updating, but clicking the “fetch again” button did not remove the error regarding the home page… Any other ideas?

Edit: Clicking fetch and refreshing the dashboard fixed the problem for me.

We can confirm GoranMagdic and motivmedia are right.
If you’re unsure if the status displayed is correct, fetch a new one ??

If the status then remains the same, that is the correct status. You can find why on https://kb.yoast.com/article/318-indexability-check-doesnt-work.
