Updated card details not being used

Hi

We are an online subscription business supported recurring payments on a woocommerce / wordpress platform using Stripe payment function.

We have an active issue which started somewhere between 27th Sept and the 4th Oct.

The issue is that when a members card expires or needs to be updated the new card details are not used. A member can add a card and the checks are completed and the details are stored, there is even an options to make default etc but still the old card details are used.

The scenarios include – the payment retry for a failed order – as well as for renewal orders.

This is a very difficult scenario to replicate obviously. I am wondering if anyone has come across this and know what to do?!?!?!
