Updated from WordPress 3.4.2 to WordPress 3.5.1 – 500 server error

  • I’ve attempted to update a website today that is running on a Windows Server. I exported the database and i had taken a full backup of the website. I am in the process right of re-uploading my entire website and if i have too i will re-import my database.

    I wonder have any others experiences problems with the wordpress update on windows server?

    Is there anything special i have to do to get it to succeed?

    Right now our site is down so i am hoping uploading the old files will bring the site back up. Keep you posted.

    i have re-uploaded the files from my backup and that has fixed the problem. At least the site is back up now.
