Hi Gary, I’ll have a look into this on the weekend in my free time.
In the meantime, could you try some things:
    1) In the WP Dashboard open the slider/s you have created and re-save them.
    2) Create a new slider from scratch using the current version of Slide Anything and test out these new sliders on your site.

Yep. I actually was just about to write back on here. For some reason I’m having to go back and resave them and they’re working correctly.

Very weird, but I can live with that!

    Thanks Simon!

Ok Gary, thanks for the Feedback.

I’ll have to add a FAQ telling people if they have created sliders prior to version 1.6 and they are having issues, then they must just re-save them.

It may not actually be an issue with your new version to be honest with you. I also had a weird thing where I had to resave my breadcrumb plugin settings to get it back to working right. As in, I just went to the settings and hit update without even changing anything.

So it’s possible it’s on my end somehow. But I guess it wouldn’t hurt to test.

Regardless, I really appreciate the help.

I had this same issue too, where my slides would just stop switching automatically and I couldn’t make them switch manually. The text was all jumbled and I thought the plug in was broken, but after I went in and clicked update on each of my sliders, they’re functioning normally. Thanks for the advice!

Glad it helped somebody else as well.
