    hey
    i have just set product tags to Show Project Tags in search results? – no
    these are already indexed in google (2000 of them)
    is there a fast way to update this or do i just need to wait for the next crawl ?
    the sitemap will be updated at myurl/sitempa.xml, but do i need to resubmit this in search console?

  • Make sure to submit your Yoast sitemap (sitemap_index.xml) to Google Search Console by following the steps here: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/submit-sitemap-search-engines/

    Instead of waiting for Google to crawl your site again, you may Fetch as Googlebot to update out of date information in Google search results. You can learn more about it here: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/fetch-as-googlebot/

    ok, thanks, i just checked in search console and noticed that some of may pages are

    and i see for page and post sitemaps there are errors —
    Sitemap has errors
    Unsupported file format
    1 instance
    Your Sitemap does not appear to be in a supported format. Please ensure it meets our Sitemap guidelines and resubmit.

    any ideas what this could be??

    Can you please provide us of the URL of the sitemap that you are receiving the error for so we can check into this further?
