Updated the theme and error now. Can’t login

  • I’ve updated the plugin and now I’m greeted with the following error:-

    Fatal error: Class ‘CZR_BASE’ not found in /homepages/16/d611329016/htdocs/StAugustine/wp-content/themes/customizr/inc/czr-init.php on line 15

    I am using a child theme as per the normal instructions and I’ve updated the theme without problems before. Please can you help as I cannot even login to the dashboard as I get the same error.

    It’s likely that you have wrong code in your child theme’s functions.php which causes this issue. Please take a look at the following thread for more details

    At the moment, you can use FTP to access your web hosting account.

    Note: Download a copy of your child theme via FTP onto your computer as backup.

    Delete your child theme on your server via FTP and you should be able to login to your WordPress admin.

    Fix your child theme on your computer, before re-installing onto your website.
