UPDATED Channing, Emerson and Parker to 1.0.2 and for viewing in IE 6: https://www.lofitribe.com/themes/

All three of the themes have been updated even further and are now good friends with that damnable Internet Explorer 6. In other words, Emerson and Parker look as sexy in I.E. 6 as they do FireFox. I have been using Internet Explorer 7beta for the past few weeks (the themes looked swell in 7beta) and totally forgot to check the themes in it’s older brother (IE 6). Needless to say I was aghast at how Emerson and Parker looked in IE 6. All is fixed now, and many apologies to those who loaded the themes in IE 6 before I fixed them.

I have just finished updating all four of my available WordPress themes. Anthology, Channing, Parker, and Emerson have all been the recipients of some fairly major updates. If you are using any of these themes, I would highly suggest updating your theme to the newer version. I completely re-worked the archiving system in each theme. The old archive system (which was plugin dependent) has been dropped. The new system works wonderfully and simply, as it should. I have also attempted to adjust a few things which caused problems for those of you installing into a subdirectory (e.g. https://www.yoursite/blog/). I believe that issue has been fixed too. So, update your themes folks!

Just thought I’d let you know your Emerson live demo link is linking to the Anthology live demo.

The site presently linked to (MUDDHONEY) actually has a live theme switcher feature, so you can switch back and forth to get a basic view of things concerning all of the themes. I’m still looking for that one person running Emerson to link to as a live user demo. If anyone is interested, e-mail me.

Ooops, so it does! How very unobservent of me.

I quite like the Emerson theme and will definitely download it. I don’t have an immediate use for it so I couldn’t be a live demo, but if that changes I’ll certainly let you know.

Well, hopefully this update will make many lives a bit easier. All of my themes/flavors now auto generate their page links. So, the hard-coded page links in your header.php file will not 404 if you are using a different permalink structure than the theme assumed by default. In other words, your page links will work now! Hooray!

Thanks for all your patience. Update your themes if you are using Channing, Parker, Emerson, or Anthology! They now work if installed in a subdirectory, and auto-generate pages to deal with different permalink structures. These themes are seriously evolving! Thanks & Peace.
