Updated to WordPress 3.8 & lost all my formatting

  • Hi,
    I didn’t realise what would happen to my organised/formatted website if I updated to the latest version of WordPress (3.8). All the work it took to organise all my information is now in a mess and unrecognisable -aaah! Is there any way of reverting back to my previous version – I had help customising it all? I also updated my theme ‘EPIC’ at the same time so don’t know which update has changed what. HELP! My website is www. westrydebaptist.org.au. I can’t understand how updates are useful or desirable if it has this effect?

  • Your database has also been updated to a new version number used by wordpress, so downgrading to a former wordpress would be hazardous. Better find how to fix your problem.

    Also, I’ll give a last advice, as it is, we can’t help you, we can’t even understand what is the actual problem you’re facing. Please, be more specific ??
