updated WordPress manually but pages missing from admin

I updated WordPress manually by these step:

Manual update… everything went ok… logged in… two site on multisites still there… *but* when going to a site dashboard the pages do not show up in the admin! It shows “published (9)” but “no pages found” in the admin.. if I “add new” I can add a page, add content etc and view the page… but it doesn’t get added to the page list! now says “published (10) but still “no pages found” in the “all pages” tab… the site works, the pages are there… but not in the admin! Any ideas?
