Updated Wrecked It

  • This is a great plugin which was working perfectly. Then I installed the most recent update, and it stopped working.

    I have the short name and API key as required. But the recent comments will not display. I just get the [disqus-latest] as text in the side nav instead.

    How can I restore functionality? Thanks!

    Where are you using the shortcode? In a page, post, test or HTML widget?

    I had troubles using it in the HTML widgets (maybe shortcodes dont run in it).

    Try putting it in a page or post to see if it runs there.

    Hi, thank you for replying.

    I’ve put the widget back on the sidebar tp show what it’s doing. This is precisely how it was set up before when it was working.

    Then it just won’t since the update. Am I the only one with this issue?

    Same for me, shortode in widgets is not working, mapped by Visual Composer – same thing, the output is empty.
    Tried to debug this and the $output of public function get_data() is empty.
