    Every time wordpress updates it well cause major problems in my dashboard. Last night it updated and now I can no longer post photographs again, this has been going for months , my host is Hostgator , and they know nothing to help, I always get told you have to call how ever does your blogs its not are issue.
    Well I have never been able to upload pictures to media file while blogging only if not on an active page or post, so thats nothing new, now I can not copy and post image either.
    I have a company that – updates – my blogs and websites every month, and for the last 5 months every update by wordpress they have gotten a call by me to fix my blogs once again.
    I have been told by Hostgator every excuse in the book as to – why – and I have never written but once before, and got a really ?? responds so have never written back , until today.
    Their has to be more than one person this happens to. Every month its extra money for me to have my blogs on wordpress, a very unhappy customer ….txc

  • What theme are you using? Have you tried switching to the default (twentytwelve) theme and deactivating your plugins? That’s the standard first troubleshooting step? Also make sure you have cleared and turned off any caching on your site.

    Yes thank you, and have moved one blog to -twentytwelve- and do not like it at all. As often as they up date, you should not have to do all the above either.
    Every time an update it extra work and phone calls, why cant a tech from wordpress look at my blogs and – fix – the issue.
    Not user friendly in anyway.
    If I had custom themes and mega extras, I would understand I dont , simple easy everyday blogs.

    Those are temporary steps to try to find the problem with your site.

    WordPress does not provide any support other than these FREE, 100% volunteer forums. If you need additional help, you could consider hiring someone – https://jobs.wordpress.net/

    Or if you want to continue troubleshooting this yourself, the steps above are necessary.

    As we’re all volunteers (which is what WPyogi said) we’re the same as you: just more volunteers. There is no “techs” from WordPress. This forum is it.

    Or you could pay someone to do the work for you. If you do go the route then please use that provided link. We don’t permit paid conversations here.

    It was statement as to , if anyone else has had major problems with WordPress and their weekly to monthly updates.
    And yes I have a company work my websites and blogs , it was a question as to -why – every update causes the issues.
    I am fully aware as to what a forum is, and have been directed here for help, with out calling and having my blogs fixed yet again.
    Was looking for – hey this plugin is not working with this or that , type help.
