Updates 4.0.2 vs 4.0.1

    Hi,

    Today I updated this plugin on two sites, on both the previous version was 3.1.6.

    On one site the plugin updated to version 4.0.1 and the interface has been totally renewed.
    Even there is a message to to upgrade database and copy banners from old tables to the new tables.
    All banners disappeared from the site and I had to added again to their widgets.

    On the other site the plugin updated to version 4.0.2 and the interface is the same as version 3.1.6.
    No update message was shown on the screen.

    Should we expect to get a new version 4.0.3 which fixes this issue ?

    Hi,

    the version 4.0.1 will be renamed in “WP Bannerize Pro”. I had to do a roll back to the previous version because some user has found issues while import process.

    When will be released the “WP Bannerize Pro”, this version avoid the conflict with the current version. In this way, no issue should be!

    Of course, your 4.0.2 is (actually) the 3.1.6 ??

    Sorry for the inconvenience.
    I guess that in few day the WP Bannerzie Pro should be ready.

    Hi John,

    If 4.0.2 is 3.1.6 what would happen if I update 4.0.1 to 4.0.2 ?
    Please notice that our site, which is running 4.0.1, has already upgraded database and deleted old database banners tables.
    Unless there were a downgrade I think it will fail, won’t it?

    Besides, after plugin update was shown an error messages because fopen() is not available on the server, and then plugin was deactivated.
    Then I activated the plugin again and database upgrade worked fine.

    Hi,

    I’m going to release a new version of WP Bannerize called “WP Bannerize Pro”. This new release is a different plugin. In this way, I can avoid any conflict. For now, you should not update to 4.0.2.

    WP Bannerize Pro is in approving by www.ads-software.com team. When done, I release it.
