Updates and my changes.

    Hello everyone,

    thank you very much, first of all a big thank you for the great software! A 5 star rating is on my todo list.

    I read a lot in the tutorials that the changes would be gone after an update.

    The events wouldn’t be affected, I think. The banners are stored in wp-content/uploads. So I wonder if the changes in the field editor will be overwritten during an update. And if not, is there more data that is not affected by an update? Which would that be?

    We are looking forward to your 5-star rating very soon. We are glad you loved us.

    Regarding the update, It is very much true that when an update is released, the whole folder gets affected, however, it won’t make too many changes but will make necessary changes in templates and code as per new feature demands.

    Field editor won’t be updated automatically if you are facing any issue related to that please provide steps to reproduce the bug.

    After add-on update field editor will be the same as you made the changes.

    It is very much recommended, to make your customizations into a Child Theme. hence you would not lose the customizations in the future.
