Hi, all SLB releases are available in the release archive.

Which version were you updating from?

Thanks for the link, So I tried 2.3.0, 2.2.2, & 2.2.1 and nothing is working now.

What happened is we had someone else make the site go live and they updated all plug ins and WP itself. Everything else seems to be working on the site other than SLB.

Also, it is all working on our test site even after updating it to 2.3.1 BUT the test site is still not on WP 3.9.1. So the mess up seems to be point towards the site being run on 3.9.1.

Any clues on this? It was great when it worked and we showed our client the test site but now that it is live and not working they are getting a different product in essence.

So I have matched everything on our test site to the live site (WP 3.9.1 and SLB 2.3.1) and it works there but still not on our live site. Asked about the cURL and they said several of their hosted sites use SLB already just fine.

Considering that earlier versions of SLB previously worked but now do not, it sounds like something has changed with the server configuration. Who is your hosting provider? Is your site hosted on a shared server or VPS?

    Thread Starter YodisMatt

    (@yodismatt)

Well the plug in has yet to work at all on the new server but has always worked on our personal test server.

Our contact said it is currently on a “dedicated VPS”

Hey there, VPS host here ??

Let me know if there are any logs or things to look for to assist YodisMatt with troubleshooting this issue. We do have lightbox on a few of our sites, but I am not sure that the other sites are using SLB per se’.

Debian machine with curl/php5 etc and all else seems well.

    Thanks in advance.

@himuraken: Thanks for jumping in to assist ??

The main thing to check cURL, PHP, HTTP server logs for is if there are any issues associated with the request for SLB’s layout file located here: https://hanswilson.com/wp-content/plugins/simple-lightbox/themes/baseline/layout.html.

You may have to search the logs for a substring of that path depending on how the server is configured to make local requests.

If there is an error message, it may point to the cause of this issue.

Also, what HTTP server is being used for this site?

Hey there, the server is running Apache2. I do not see any errors in the logs.

I did tail the access logs and found this when trying to load one of the images that should use/activate lightbox: https://pastebin.com/YZZXuCCg

I checked the error.log file and it is clean, no issues at all.

    Thanks

Hi, please download and install this test version of SLB: Layout Data Test

This version of SLB is fully functional, but provides some additional information on SLB’s settings page.

Replace your current version of SLB with the test version and do the following:

    1. Go to SLB’s settings page
    2. Copy the contents of the “Layout Data” section
    3. Paste layout data contents to this thread for me to review

    Thanks.

    Hi,

Have you had a chance to test the special version of SLB I linked to in my previous post? If so, please provide the output and I will evaluate it.

    Thanks.
