    Hello,

I would like to know how NOT to get the message urging people to update their version of Wisija.

I understand that knowing when an update is ready is critical, but it may beso for me as the web developer, it’s not critical for the client.
Having a notification in the WordPress plugins section is more than enough, no need to pollute the plugin interface itself.
Providing a direct link (in every single wisija page) for the client to download the latest version BEFORE I had the chance to test it in its environment is very very dangerous.
For a reason or another, it may conflict with another plugin or whatever and letting the client make the download is a big issue in this regard.

I tried to hide the message box and succeeded by applying a “display:none” on the “updated” class but it still takes half a second before the message is hidden.

Any quick fix to just deactivate the resilient message (anywhere but in the plugin section)?

    Thank you.

  • Hello baylock,

Thanks for suggestion, I’ll put it on our feedback loop to discuss with a team.

Alright, we’ll add a ticket to add “Hide this.” to our to do list.

Note that only admins see this notification to start with!

    Thank you for your concern!
It’s right that it’s limited to the admin but an admin is basically a webmaster, not a developer.
Anyway, it’s nice to be heard and considered.
    Thank you.
