Updates not Pubishing

  • Please help! Since I updated to 2.91, an updated Home page won’t publish. I’m not sure why. Additionally my new blog posts aren’t showing up either. What IS the problem?

  • Try temporarily disabling your plugins perhaps to see if one of those isn’t compatible with the current version of WordPress. If it starts working again, re-activate them one by one to see which is the faulty one.

    Yup, like alism said try disabling some plugins. Maybe you have some that do caching and you’re seeing a cached version of your site? Do the post show as published from the dashboard?

    Wow! Thank you both for responding to my Help plea. I appreciate it.

    I think Super Cache was the problem. I disabled it and other plugins and the posts were then published. I received the email notice which is how I know they were.

    Not sure about the Home page update though. The published date still shows 2008 although I’ve updated that page numerous times. I still don’t have access to the Publish button after I click update.

    I also wonder … as I reinstall plugins … how will I know which one caused the problem? Do I reactivate Super Cache or not? Thank you for walking me through the details. I greatly appreciate it.
