updating a simple html website to wordpress

  • Hello,

    A few years ago I coded myself a simple html webpage. Which I published with cyberduck and a small hosting packet. Now this website is outdated and I really want to create a new website from scratch. The problem is I have never worked with wordpress and I don’t know where to start.

    I really want to keep my current website published, until the new website is ready. But I also want to keep the same domainname. Has anyone any advice for me how I can do this.
