    Hi mate,

I’ve noticed that when I update content of a page, cache for it doesn’t get deleted – have to use plugin settings to delete all cache. I thought it should delete all cache on post/page publishing or updating?

Also I think it would be a VERY smart idea to ONLY delete cache for the post/page being updated, not all cache.

    Any thoughts? ??

Hi Kramarz, I have tested it and when the post is published or updated, the cache is deleted. Can you check it on cPanel? If it doesn not work, can you download the plugin again?

what if the deleted post link appears on sidebar ? In this case, should we delete all cache?

Sorry mate, what do you mean by ‘Can you check it on cPanel?’

It means that Can you check the folder which is /wp-content/cache/ after delete the cache?

    Thread Starter Kramarz

    (@kramarz)

Yea, checked that – after updating page content, all the cached folders were still in /wp-content/cache/

I will try to reinstall plugin and will report back in few minutes ??

Never mind it for now mate, I will have to stay tuned to this problem for some time more, something funky is going on, on the server…

I will get back to you when I’ll get more details. Thanks.

Anyway, yea… clearing only 1 page cache would be a tricky one, I suppose it’s best when all gets cleared.

hmm. I have tested with my more than 5 sites and it works. did you take a look to error_log?

    Thread Starter Kramarz

    (@kramarz)

Well I see no error_log, but anyway testing now and it works again…
So no idea what it was! ;-p
Will get back to you if I’ll see the issue again.

Thanks again so much for such an awesome work of yours!

And… I’m back with an update!

It doesn’t delete cache when updating page if I have enabled combining css and combining js. It works fine if I have those disabled.

Would you suggest to NOT use Combining options at all for now, until they are out of being ‘Beta’?

are you talking about /wp-content/all or /wp-content/wpfc-minified?

    Thread Starter Kramarz

    (@kramarz)

    talking about /wp-content/cache/all/
with enabled combining if css & jc it doesn’t delete all the cached pages in that folder.
