    Hi there
I’m trying to update the credentials on my website from v1 to v2.
I paste in the new credentials into the Assistant URL field and hit the save button it keeps reverting back to the previous credentials. The following error appears:

Warning: You entered the credentials for old version of Watson Assistant (v1) that uses Skills (previously Workspaces). Please retrieve new credentials (v2) that uses Assistants as written above.

Any idea why I cannot get these new credentials to save ?!?.
    Cheers
    N

    Hello @hardstep.

Based on your description of the problem, you are only entering the new Assistant URL, but not updating the API key field, which may be the cause of the error.
To integrate the Watson Assistant service into your website, follow these steps:

    • Go to your IBM Cloud Dashboard. If nothing shows up, be patient. Sometimes it takes a while to load.
    • Click on your Watson Assistant service name in Services list.
    • Click “Launch Watson Assistant” (sample screenshot).
    • On the tool’s page go to “Assistants” tab.
    • On the Assistants tab, call the menu of your Assistant by clicking on the “threee dots” button on the right and select “Settings” in the menu (sample screenshot).
    • On the Assistant Settings tab, select “API Details” from the menu on the left.
    • Copy “Assistant URL” and “Api Key” values (sample screenshot).
    • Please fill Username field with “apikey” word.

    Hi @intelahelp
Thanks for getting back to me so quickly.
I did follow the steps you outlined and i’m definitely using the Assistant URL and API KEY from the Assistants tab settings.
When I paste the values into the wordpress plugin and hit the save key the newly pasted URL is replaced by the old/existing URL and I get the same error message:

Warning: You entered the credentials for old version of Watson Assistant (v1) that uses Skills (previously Workspaces). Please retrieve new credentials (v2) that uses Assistants as written above.

I’ve tried uninstalling the plugin and reinstalling – but I cannot seem to get the URL to replace.

    Very strange !
