• I’ve been working on some custom gutenberg blocks for my site, and it’s going pretty well.

Using create-gutenberg-block, I created an initial version, zipped and uploaded. All went well.

Then I spent a few days updating the plugin, and created another zip. Deleted and deactivated the old plugin (even logged into FTP and deleted the folder). Then uploaded the new zip.

But none of my new blocks are available in a post. The titles are never updated (IE it still says mySite – CGB Block – which is what it said the first time I uploaded). Even though I’ve deleted that default block. I’ve cleared all caches, deleted all files.

Not sure why the old stuff would still be hanging around?

Is there some other method to update these blocks? Other than deleting the old folder and re-uploading my new zip?

  • Hello!

To clarify, are you saying that the custom blocks registered by your plugin are still showing in your content, but with the old label from the last version?
