Updating custom element on Educator Settings page?

  • I have added a dropdown box with three values. So should I expect to find the value in input[‘mycustomdropdownbox’]. The three values allowed are ‘pending’, ‘granted’ and ‘denied’.

    I go in as admin to change to select value in the entry edit page. I change it from ‘pending’ to ‘granted’. After saving the value in the dropdown turns back to ‘pending’. How do I get the element to save and present the value I selected?
