Something appears to be blocking REST requests on your site. This URL should return posts, for example: /wp-json/wp/v2/posts/

Try the standard practice of disabling your plugins until you find the one causing the problem.

Actually, some of your links aren’t working too, like the /products/frozen-juice-bar/ link. So check your Settings->Permalink settings, and make sure they’re not set to the “Plain” setting. Any other setting for permalinks should work fine.

Yea the main issue I was having was the links not working, but I also ran into the other JSON error. Thank you for your help

I have exactly the very same problem. It’s either an invalid JSON response or Server Error (403). I’ve tried troubleshooting the following: (1) All plugins check, (2) wp-config permission, (3) .htaccess, all to no avail.

Let me add the “good” news: I decided to remove the installation and reinstalling the wordpress back. Guess what happened? SAME PROBLEM!

Surprisingly, I thought it was because I was working with one of my sites heavily (changes and all), but then I checked my other two WordPress installations (updated to 5.3), different sites, and? the same “illness” appeared.

What on earth is going on?
Now I just contacted my hosting provider, making them baffled with my problem.

Please tell me that you have found the fix for this issue.
