Updating homepage issues

  • So I’ve tried to update my homepage and having major issues. I followed the instructions on the previous support on this same issue.
    Do i have to use the wordpress editor to change my homepage, or can I keep it as the way I had it set up?
    I tried added a content block to the front-page theme but it didn’t add my content the way I wanted to. Is there a way around this?

    Hi @thomasthorne,

    You need to use the edit view located at Appearance → Editor → WordPress logo in the top left → Templates → “Front Page”. Can you be more specific about the issue you’re encountering with the content block?

    Hi, and thanks for the instructions on your great theme! I’ll simply copy the contents of the old homepage into the front page template editor.

    Selecting a homepage under settings > reading doesn’t do anything anymore. I think this can be confusing for users, as the theme appears broken. Is this a wordpress issue, and/or can you add something within the theme to explain this to users? Maybe even adjust the demo content to say something useful?
