Updating Jquery Breaks Site

  • When i update Jquery it forces my site to hit the loading screen constantly and not move on to the rest of the site. As soon as I downgrade to the version of jQuery that came installed it works again. I am positive I am upgrading it right, I even used a plug in to get update it as well same error. Could really use some help on updating jQuery….

    The reason I need to update my site to the newest version is because I am trying to get an animation to function properly on my Activities page.

    JQuery is part of the WordPress core files along with few jquery plugins. The plugins which are not available and are used in the theme are bundled in the theme.
