• I have about 20 different people using WordPress all with different installs on my server. Does any anyone know how I can update all these installs at once?

  • If you meant upgrade to a newer version – I am afraid you are out of lack.I havent’heard about any tool that would let you do that.

You might be able to speed up the process if you have shell access, upload the files to the top directory of the server and copy them to the different installs. It’s still having to do it 20 times, but it can go *really* fast.

Upload one zip file, unpack it, and copy it over.

Just a thought, maybe won’t work for your situation.

Thanks vavroom, that’s what I have been doing, but it’s still a PITA.

It seems like something that could be easily scripted, I just don’t have the skills to do that at this point.

Symbolic links for the majority of the WP files from one “master” install to all the actual installs might be an interesting way to go in the future (if you have that much access to the box). Granted, you wouldn’t want to link wp-config.php and probably not anything under wp-content…
