Updating New Order Email – Not Updating after Woo 3.7 Update

    Hi after updating to Woo Version 3.7, the Settings > Email > New Order Settings are NOT updating. When I hit save changes it seems it updates, BUT when I go back again later its gone. I had this issue arise on 2 different sites. Woo 3.6 doesn’t have this issue. Help please! Can’t update email addresses for New Orders.

  • Are there any commonalities between the two sites plugin-wise? I wonder if a plugin isn’t fully 3.7 compatible and is causing an errors when saving settings, because it’s working correctly for me on a no-plugin install.

    @catalystdesign check your plugins, do some tests with all plugins except WooCommerce disabled.

    In my tests with just WooCommerce, the email settings save fine for all email types.

    Hi there, I created a staging site on one of the sites and disabled all plugins EXCEPT Woocommerce and also swtich the theme to default WP 2019. This only affects the New Order notification, but when I attempt to update it, it seems it takes at first BUT when I hit refresh, it dissapears. This is for any update i make whether email address or the new field for Additional content. I also can’t disable it (but of course wouldn’t want to). Thoughts? I am hosted on SiteGround, not sure if they have some weird cache issue maybe?

    So the other emails save correctly? I’m baffled then, I was going to suggest checking SiteGround’s SuperCacher settings, but I wouldn’t expect that to only break *one* of the emails’ settings.

    You might try editing the New Order email and taking out the hands raised emoji.
