I am an older person that cannot use a mouse properly anymore because of arthritis. This makes it very difficult for me to edit a post or page and then save the changes. I make the changes I require and then press Tab a few times to get the focus on the update button. The problem occurs when I press enter on the update button there is not enough time for me to get to the view page link.

Would it be possible to get to the view page button with fewer tabs or even better, could the view page button just stay active for a tad longer before it disappears?

I would appreciate any assistance in this regard.

  • Hey Arnold, I can see that there is some history behind this.

It reads as though the permalink is always accessible through the summary tab – knowing that, does that help you at all?

@domokun Thanks for looking into this. I was not aware of the link in the summary so this does give me a second option. This however is not a very intuitive option. I first have to Tab to the Post tab (unless I am already there), I then have to Tab to the URL link and after that to the View Post link. Maybe a simple Save button somewhere in the top would be a lot easier. Hey, beggars can’t be choosers, at least I now have two ways of getting the job done, albeit in a slightly roundabout way

    Thanks again.
