updating pages via custom page template sections

    When you are building a page using custom template sections and we need to update the page is it not possible to update the section template and have it automatically update all pages which use that section-template? I thought this is what Elementor did by default and the main reason to use saved templates. If its not a feature of Elementor currently can it be added to your development trac for future release. When you have dozens of pages to update it will be a major boon – If its already a feature where is it???

    sorry its not live – this is a point I’ve noticed since starting to use Elementor on any site I’ve worked on over the last year, so i dont think its my specific site. I thought i saw a checkbox somewhere in the global settings/options where this feature could be switched on or off or maybe I’m thinking of something else – I’m using Elementor free. Is it supposed to update? is auto updating already a feature?

    Hi,

    You may use the Template widget instead of inserting the template via the plus button on the bottom of the page.

    This way with Template widget will always reflect the latest changes in the templates (similar to Global Widgets).
