Updating plugin stops half way … ?

  • This is somewhat of a strange issue which has been happening to me for a few versions on several sites.

    When trying to update wordpress plugins, the text displayed never makes it past “Downloading update …”. The update successfully downloads, but the new version is never activated. The screen just sits there and never moves forward.

    Any thoughts?
