My site has gone to hell. =( I’m running into so many issues lately and this is the newest one that just barely started happening today.
I haven’t done anything new. I haven’t gotten any new plugins. I don’t know what is going on!!!

Now when I try to update a post for an edit, I get this “No Date Received” page. It happens every single time. It’s been happening all day long. I don’t know anything about coding. I haven’t messed with any coding. My friend paid for my sites template and domain. I just add content.

    Please help?

Yeah I believe I have the same thing happening slee180.

Ok, I noticed something odd, maybe you can try it too. I went back into the problematic post and again tried to udpate it. I noticed that after a little bit – maybe less than a min of working in the post, the “schedule” button greyed out for a second, and then if I did something else, it came back. I think this is triggering the error. I tried making just one change and then clicking update, and it saved. I think this means it has to be a WP issue, not a GoDaddy one right?

@slee180 dude, you need some notes on your website, it have infinite full articles on the home page, this may cause you a lot of speeding problems and issues..

about your post, check your permalinks and re-configure them better..

and use some kind of image optimizer for your images as they are big..

your post problem maybe caused by permalinks and maybe caused by the post it self (comparability issues)

Ugh. Tried again this morning. Still having issues. Can’t save or publish posts.

if your hosting on godaddy.com you might need to know about there new policies that may cause problems that you think its from wordpress or you..

They suck. What are some other options for good hosts? Considering switching as they appear to ignore the problem.

if you need them to get better somehow, please like this post on there offecial page:

You should know that discussions of hosting are closed per the forum rules – just because they attract too much spam – so don’t go there :). https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Forum_Welcome#Closing_Posts

the problem is official hostings are limited to 3 and expinsive hostings…

There are plenty of other hosting options out there so certainly do your own research. But, in general, like most things, you get what you pay for.

I know this is a tough situation if you’re currently on GoDaddy, but that does not change the forum policy – if you start on a discussion of hosting, the thread will be closed.

its not a hosting discussion its a hosting blaiming wordpress and us about there problems..

I just got off the phone with them. They want to look at my error logs to find out what in WordPress is the problem. Sooooo…looks like I have to wait 24 hours to pass until they can look at the error logs and then contact them again tomorrow morning.

Everyone else needs to also call them to make them aware of their issue and/or post on the GoDaddy forums:

    https://support.godaddy.com/groups/wordpress-hosting/forum/

The moderators there are clueless also despite the growing number of people complaining of inability to edit/publish to their blogs.

this is always there answer, i activated the logs yesterday, and called them today, and they told me ya it apears its because our new security policy///

    there shi**ng us…

Yeah why would you EVER close a thread that aims to help WP users find answers to why hitting the Update button on a post is redirecting them to a “No Data” page? Does not add up.

    I talked to a Go Daddy rep and he brought up the Mod Security. We went into the PHP file from the GoDaddy dashboard and changed the auto-save update function to 15 minutes by inserting this: define(‘AUTOSAVE_INTERVAL’, 900);
