Updating the About the Author bio in Novelist

    I’m using the Verbosa theme and Novelist to create my book list on my author website. I created a page titled ‘About Julie’ and added a bio to it before I installed the Novelist plugin. When setting up Novelist, I must have copied that content into a setting somewhere, because it appears in an ‘About the Author’ section below every individual book in the archive created by Novelist.

    I’ve now edited the ‘About Julie’ bio to make it shorter, but I can’t find out where I need to go to in order to edit the About the Author content. Please does anyone have any ideas? I’ve searched in all the menus and the customise options but I simply can’t see it.

    Hi there ??

    That about the author section isn’t being added by Novelist. I believe it’s coming from your theme because your theme is applying styling to that section.

    Thank you – that helps to narrow it down! I will investigate further. Hoping someone can suggest where in the Verbosa theme it might be. Until then it will have to stay as it is I guess! ??

    It might just be coming from Users > Your Profile (see About Yourself on that page). But I can’t say for sure because every theme is a little different.

    Yes! That’s where it was! You are officially a star ?? – I could have spent hours without finding that, as I had totally forgotten I’d put any content there. Thank you soooo much.
