Updating the plug in – hides it

    WP v4.9.1
    PHP v7.0
    I attempted to update the plug in and got an error that the update failed. When I refreshed, the plug in had disappeared from the WP plug in page. The updraftplus files are still there when i look at the hosting account.

    Hi,

    It appears that the update has failed partway.
    You can remove the “updraftplus” plugin folder in the “wp-content/plugins”.
    Then re-intall the plugin and that should fix the problem.
    You will not lose your backups in the process.
