Updating Theme from 2 colum to 3

    I want to update my blog from 2 column to 3 column. Will I have to start the whole blog again

  • Nope. (although I’m not sure what you mean by “start the whole bog again”?)
    Just make up your 3-column theme and install it as a new theme, rather than replacing the old one. Then in the WP admin panel, after you tested it and all, switch the default theme from the old 2-column one to the new 3-column one.

    2 to 3 col upgrades can be tricky. But really all you need to do is add another menu and maybe widen it a bit. Nothing fancy. It shouldnt disturb your blog too much.
